When travelling to Turkey, tourists cannot resist going to Kas. Kas is the second largest resorts in Turkey, and it rests on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, approximately two hours' drive southeast of Feithe. Kas is world famous for maintaining an ambience of tranquillity and serenity, while still having all the needed necessities for even the pickiest of tourists. Kas has been described as an area of Turkey that has been left untouched, with many of its natural beauties preserved. During the last census taken, there were less than 6,000 citizens in population. 

Shopping is a popular activity amongst tourists, with bargains to be had by little boutiques who sell unique artefacts. Jewellery such as gold and silver is a popularly sold commodity as well as genuine Turkish “kilims”, which a specialized type of woven rug of the region. Tourists are also attracted to the different kinds of excursions that occur in Kas, such as the annual Jazz festival. One of the tourists favourite art excursions include The Kiln Under the Sea. 

While most resorts on Kas have excellent room-service, however, for those who wish to dine-out, there is an extensive collection of quaint pubs, clubs, and restaurants, all of which have been highly praised for its seafood fare. One restaurant in Kas which has received high reviews is Akropol. Many different seafood festivals occur throughout the year, and travellers should check to see if one will be occurring during their stay. 
Since many of Kas’ beaches have small pebbles, many visitors enjoy going to nearby caves and exploring. One particularly favourite amongst tourists is the Blue Cave. For those who wish to go swimming, many tourists either rent a boat or take a boat tour. The boat tours are highly praised because they have a glass bottom so ancient ruins can be seen right under a person’s feet. Visitors can expect to experience warm, dry summers, and wet winters. 

Many of the grand resorts in Kas include the Aqua Princess Hotel which is located directly on the beach, with a great view. The Hotel Phellos is located in a peaceful neighbourhood of Kas, and is enjoyed immensely by those who wish for a quieter scene. The Aqua Park Hotel in Kas, is located in a unique position below a hillside, while being surrounded by luscious green gardens. This resort is great for families and couples, and has a pool and a waterslide.
